Good Morning Everyone and Happy New Year! Can you believe its 2014??? Thanks so much for all of the wonderful comments and those that created handmade flowers with Jenni's mini-challenge. Stay tuned for a new "Spotlight and Mini-Challenge" at the bottom of January at the end of Challenge No. 31.

It's time for a new challenge today here at Anything But a Card Challenges... so get ready to play and have some fun! Congratulations to all of you who were able to create during the busy holiday season and share your creations here to inspire us all for Challenge #31 "Anything Goes with a Holiday Twist". If you missed out on seeing all the amazing submissions... please CLICK HERE to check them out.

The new Challenge... Anything But a Card Challenge #31 - Balance! With the new year - everyone begins a fresh start – with the new beginning comes choosing resolutions and goals for the year ahead. So for this challenge we present this image for your inspiration for BALANCE.

You can use the image as inspiration - or share something that inspires you when you think of the word "BALANCE". We all juggle family, home and work in our daily lives which could be a source of inspiration of how you find balance. The imagery that the varied deifinitions of the word balance brings to mind... could set your muse off and running, too! This is just a sampling from the definition found on google... and there are many more {not including verbs}. CLICK HERE to see the entire list. Stretch your mind and think out of the box for this challenge – even our designers were a little bit; but found it refreshing to create from a new perspective. We look forward to seeing how your minds eye perceives balance.

My inspiration was the word and the serendipity heart that appeared in a piece of printing I have been experimenting with. Please visit my blog for more details!

This little clock has been on my desk waiting to be altered for a couple of months. What is more about balance than the precise movements of a clock. I went with a Steampunk look because all other attempts I've done at Steampunk have been fails. I think I finally succeeded this time! Check out my blog for more details!

I had to think quite hard for this challenge! Eventually I decided to take the word Balance and use it in a fairly literal sense. I've made an ATC which depicts my interpretation of the theme 'Balance'. Please visit my blog for more details!
